Since 2006, the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences has hosted the Teaching with Technology Symposium, Central Arkansas’ premiere conference addressing technology in teaching and learning. Submit a proposal and see the Exhibitor Prospectus.
The Symposium is organized by the UAMS Teaching with Technology Committee and will be held July 24-25.
With presentations, panel discussions and workshops, the Symposium is a two-day forum for sharing and learning. Each year, faculty, graduate students, instructional designers, librarians, administrators and other educators learn new skills and expand their professional network at the event.
Dr. Mark Milliron, Co-Founder & Chief Learning Officer of Civitas Learning, is confirmed as our Thursday morning keynote speaker. Dr. Milliron will speak about learning analytics and student support.
Tom Kuhlmann, VP of Community at Articulate and host of the Rapid eLearning Blog, will present several workshops on PowerPoint and Storyline.
Continuing education credit will be available for K-12 educators.
